Bob Marley's band connect the old and new to produce song featuring Shaggy and Skip Marley.

Aston Barrett Jr, son of the exceptional Aston ‘Familyman’ Barrett who was the bassist for Bob Marley & The Wailers, continues to carry the music legacy of The Wailers forty-years on.

The new single called "One World One Prayer", is a powerful song focused on unity, love and inclusion beyond cultural differences.

The Wailers have collaborated with Jamaican superstar Shaggy, international titan Farruko and Bob Marley’s very own daughter and grandson Cedella and Skip Marely, to create a unique sound that fuses reggae with latin music.

The Wailers are legends in their own right, having recorded and toured with Bob Marley between 1972 and 1981 capturing the essence of 70s reggae.

Today, carrying on the mission are founding members, children-of-legends and a host of endless talented musicians.

Aston Barrett Jr, also incorporates his uncle’s (Carlton ‘Carly’ Barrett) one drop drumming sound in the track.

Original guitarist Donald Kinsey is joined by Wendel ‘Junior Jazz’ Ferraro, shaping the classic sonic identity and Josh David Barrett takes on Bob Marley's centre position as lead vocalist.

Owen ‘Dreadie’ Reid and Andres Lopez are also added to this impressive line-up, alongside Tyrone Downie, saxophone player, Glen Dacosta and Dennis Thompson the engineers who were there from the beginning of the band.

The Wailers are set to release a brand new album later this year.
