Wretch 32 shares horrific video of his father being tasered by police
Wretch 32 has shared a horrifying video of his 62-year-old father being tasered by police at his home in Tottenham, London.
In a police body-cam video, officers are seen entering the home and then go up the stairs and shout: "Police with taser, stay where you are."
Wretch 32's father Millard Scott, is seen falling down the stairs after police appeared to taser him.
The shocking video was shared on Wretch 32's Twitter saying: "This is how the police think they can treat a 62 year old black man in Tottenham but this 1 happens to be my dad #Nojusticenopeace."
Having talked about his experience on ITV news, Scott said: "I'm lucky to be alive. It seems to me we're being singled out and targeted."
The Metropolitan Police responded to ITV news saying that Scott was warned before the taser was discharged and also denied racial motive.
The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has called for an IOPC (Independent Office for Police Conduct) investigation into what happened.
Wretch 32 added on Twitter: "Just had to have the 'Police Talk' with my son, I actually can't believe that I'm mirroring what my dad said to me in 1995 in 20/20... sad thing is there's so many more of these conversations that we'll have to have. I pray that he won't have to say this to his son."
