J Alexander Keung, one of the Minneapolis officers fired and arrested for Floyd’s death, was spotted at Cub Foods on Sunday, by a woman who began filming him.

Keung, 26, was released on Friday on ‘bond and conditional release,’ from the Hennepin County Jail, according to public jail records.

His bail had been set at $750,000. He has been charged with ‘second-degree murder without intent while committing a felony’. The woman films Keung tells him that he does not ‘have the right to be here’ while condemning him for ‘comfortably shopping as though he hadn’t killed someone’ while released on bond. She also asked him how he got the funding to secure bail.

Keung remains calm during the encounter and tells the woman he’s ‘getting necessities’ as she films him with a packet of Oreos in his hand.

‘You’re not going to be able to comfortably go around Minnesota like this,’ the woman tells Keung. ‘I pulled up the picture. I knew it was you, we don’t want you to get your stuff [shopping] here’ she continues, before loudly identifying him to other shoppers.

‘It’s just like, he was there when they were killing him (Floyd). And it’s just like crazy that your here it’s just…thinking everything’s ok. I mean, you don’t want to apologize, you don’t want to say anything,’ she says, before vowing that Keung ‘will be going back to jail.’

Keung is due back in court on 29th June. He is one of four officers charged in connection with the death of Mr Floyd, who died after officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for more than eight minutes while other officers, including Keung, looked on and did nothing.
