The awaited BBC Asian Network Comedy is coming to Birmingham on Sunday 24 July, featuring performances from top comedians and live music.
This event is Hosted by the network’s very own Nikita Kanda and Mistah Islah. Viewers can expect an evening packed with laughter and entertainment from some of the UK’s hottest comedians. This event will also see a DJ set from AJD.
The line-up includes Award-winning comedian, actress and writer Shazia Mirza. The 2021 British Comedian of the Year Semi-finalist, Preet Singh, Asian Network’s Noreen Khan and Midlands-based female comedian, Tej Dhutia.
Head of Asian Network, Ahmed Hussain highlights his excitement for showcasing this brilliant Asian talent: “Comedy and entertainment is at the heart of Asian Network and we can’t wait to bring some of the UK’s best Asian comedians to Birmingham for an unforgettable night of laughter, jokes, music and entertainment.”
Recorded in front of a live audience at the Glee Club in Birmingham, Asian Network Comedy will take place on Sunday 24 July from 7.30pm.
